Meet the Teacher
Beth Meyer started taking piano lessons in first grade, and continued all the way through college. In third grade she added guitar lessons, flute in fifth grade, and in high school learned the saxophone, She studied flute privately starting her junior year of high school, and continued through college. Beth took solos to contest every year of high school, and performed in her district's honor band her senior year. Beth was the recipient of the John Phillips Sousa Award and the Top Band award in high school.
Beth attended Bluffon University and earned a degree in Music Education. While at Bluffton she participated in concert band, women's choir, touring choir, and woodwind ensemble. She was an active member of Ohio Music Education Association, and served as Bluffton's chapter historian and president. She also participated in OPCICA (Ohio private college Instrumental Conductors Association) honor band. While at Bluffton Beth received the Top Instrumental Award and the Top Music Education award.
After Bluffton Beth started teaching piano lessons and Kindermusik classes. Beth also has experience teaching preschool/pre-k. She currently teaches private piano lessons and offers music classes to area preschools.
